Now in its 54th year, the Visual Arts Center of Richmond's Craft + Design is a museum-quality show that has garnered national accolades and a reputation for showcasing the finest in contemporary crafts. Awards are presented in ceramics, contemporary design, fiber, glass, innovative use of traditional craft materials, precious metals, and wood and recycled materials. 

The event will take place November 16-18, 2018 at Main Street Station’s newly renovated train shed.

Thursday, February 22nd: Meet the Artist Dinner 6-9pm
Get to know the artist in an intimate setting in a local restaurant.  An elegant yet casual events, the cost is $100 per person and attendees must register and pay ahead of time. For more information and the register, click here.

Friday, February 23rd: Gallery Opening 6-8pm
Benzaiten's Gallery Openings include tasty appetizers, wine, music, and artist demonstrations! Tickets are $15 at the Door (includes 2 drink tickets), or free with a basic membership. More information is found here

Saturday, February 24th : Public Demo 2-5pm
Watch as Grant sculpts molten glass into a masterful sculpture right before your eyes during this fun and lively demonstration!
